Ana Sofia, founder of ALZULEYCHA, is a Portuguese designer driven by a passion for her cultural heritage and a desire to share its beauty with the world. After growing up surrounded by the intricate details of Lisbon's architecture - hydraulic mosaics, terracotta tiles, and ornate ironwork - she felt compelled to preserve these elements in a modern context. Thus, ALZULEYCHA was born in 2015 in Lisbon, serving as a creative outlet to transform architectural details into unique decorative accessories.
Following her move to California in 2017, Ana Sofia saw an opportunity to bridge the gap between her Portuguese roots and her new American home and brought ALZULEYCHA to the United States. More than just a brand, ALZULEYCHA represents Ana Sofia's artistic identity, seamlessly blending her professional training with her cultural pride.
Today, ALZULEYCHA not only keeps Portuguese design alive but also breathes new life into it, offering a touch of timeless elegance to modern spaces. Through her dedication and artistic vision, Ana Sofia continues to share the captivating beauty of her heritage with the world, one meticulously crafted piece at a time.
